History
In 1994 Jacob obtained an HND in Furniture Design, from Shrewsbury college of Arts and Technology.
He then went on to study 3D design in Wood/Metal/Plastics at Wolverhampton University.
After graduating (B.A.Hons 2:1) in 1995 Jacob went to spend time at various workshops around the country that specialise in making fine handmade furniture.
He spent three years working for Mark Whitely producing furniture for David Linley, based in Cirencester and then Whitby. Here Jacob gained experience in fine veneering, marquetry and solid timber.
Jacob Littlejones then went on to work for Mark Stephens, based in Kew, West London. For three years he gained experience in making one-off pieces of fine furniture, including custom-made and bespoke kitchens and other fitted furniture.
Finally Jacob spent three years with Edwin Lock, based in Brighton, who specialises mainly in making individual one-off pieces of solid fine furniture, but also works alongside various interior designers and architects.
